Volunteer FAQs
Good to know
Do I need experience in climate science?
No. Curiosity, reliability and respect for communities matter most. We provide orientation and all the materials you need.
How much time do I need to give?
It is flexible. Some volunteers help with one event a term; others give a few hours each week. We will agree a commitment that works for you.
Can I volunteer from outside Ghana?
Yes. Remote volunteers support us with research, writing, design, translation and digital communications.
Is there an age requirement?
Volunteers should be 18 or older. The Youth Climate Ambassadors programme welcomes young people aged 16–30; those under 18 need consent from a parent or guardian.
Be part of the solution
